Pilot Post

This blog is for the PVA lessons for instrumental music for kolintang. Kolintang is a type of instrument that is similar to the xylophone. The instrument is originated from Indonesia and is made of wood. There are 5 types of kolintangs: the melody, alto, tenor, contra, and bass. The kolintang is usually made into an ensemble and can be made into fusion with other instruments. The mallets are specified for the kolintang and to hold it, we need to place our index finger and our thumb about an inch from the edge and have the other fingers balance out the mallet on your hand. Anyways, that's the kolintang ladies and gentleman. Have fun.
